Wow, Eric, added 30+ to the list. Thanks!

And, yes, once I saw some of the ones you added, I immediately thought, "Man, how did I miss that one??!!"

Dcott, could you please PM me with 42?

40 on my own, not bad for listening to about 4 regularly and not watching MTV or VH1 since I was a wee one and Music videos were played.

Powerfibers just sent me quite a few, illustrating that he actually did own stock in MTV during the 80's....

LktTiger, eric42434224, DCott, Powefibers and some unnamed source who apparently has access to my password(!) have all been major contributors to the list.

67 - D12 -- Eminem's pet rap group. Only knew that from seeing Marshall Mathers in the lower corner and recalling the group.

Didn't want anyone calling BS on me. Had to prove it. More en route in a minute.

Hey, let's put a little something on the line here.

Anyone who contributes names to the list gets their name put into the hat for a new pair of gloves. And, considering I have about 500 pairs sitting in my closet, maybe even more than one person!

I think the test would be more skewed toward music fans like myself from Ireland, or others from England and the area. A lot of the US bands were fairly mainstream over with us, but the british bands, while big at home were not big over here.

How many of you, in terms of general pop music would know Skunk Anansie, or the Manic Street Preachers, where they were big names at home (and skunk are also excellent)

We used to play scream to a sigh from MSP, good tune
