Anyone know where to buy tex style laces?

At the lhs near me, the small store with the even smaller offer and overpriced everything, the only one in the city I might add :P . I'm not going to even tell them that Tex-Style makes laces for Graf because they'll charge more for them

Tex-Style makes Graf laces. The #4 on that site is the lace they supply Graf.

Is there a reason why TexStyle would recommend the style 1510MT lace rather than the #4 lace when I requested the lace that is provided to Graf skates?

you guys should check out gorilla laces. they'll be the last pair you ever buy. I've actually gotten new skates before new laces.

Giving those a go, do the metal tips work? Hope so cos mine always fray at the end..

Had mine for about a year and a half, 3 have stayed on and are in great condition. One fell off, but it's not that big of a deal, because they still have plastic tips underneath like normal laces.

Oooo! Those look like the motherload of Sportstape laces. I'm grabbing some now. I just don't know which is the right one - wide or thin? - Which is closest to the laces that come with the skates?

I actually got laces from this guy, I went with wide, the double tracer, waxed and they are a little wider than the tex style waxed double tracer. I haven't used them yet, but they seem a really quality lace, meaning that I don't see them streching that much. What I do actually like more on the tex style laces are the molded tips, sportstape use regular plastic on the end of the lace, which eventually falls of.

The seller shipped them really fast and is a stand up guy.

They do stretch out a bit, but they last longer than any other lace I've ever used.

I love the sportstape thin laces, but they are much thinner than any other brand.

You're welcome, I was the one that told him to stock waxed laces. He previously only had unwaxed white laces.

Yeah, because I'm an idiot.

The #4 is the Graf lace, however, plastic tip.

The 1810MT is the Graf lace, however double tracer.

So, yeah, the 1810MT is what you want if you want the same lace as Graf, albeit double tracer.
