Easton Z-air Comp Equivalent

After a few years my tried and tru Z-air Comps have died on me, and now i am in the market for a new pair.

These skates fit my feet like a dream, after getting lace bite in a pair of Vapors, switching to these was great.

What other skates are close comparisons fit wise to these?

I had lace bite issues with the Vapors, so volume is key.

There's someone on ebay selling Z-Air boots, you could get them and use your current holders.

Easton is not making traditional made skates at the Z-Air level anymore. All their skates at the high end are all now composite moulded boots. You should try a few pair on and check out the fit. You may be surprised at the fit these skates give you. I went from the Z-Airs to the 1300C's and never looked back. Eastons highest end traditional made skate is now the S-7 which would probably be the equivilant of the old Synergy 500's or 700's well below the quality level of the Z-Airs. If you look around there may be some Z-Airs left but they would probably be with you're little known or very low profile internet vendors. I know I've googled "hockey equipment dealers" and run into some of these internet dealers. Give that a try but a warning, the skate sizes may be very limited.

I think a few pro players are still wearing them, or just recently switched from them. If you live near a pro team you might see if they have any used player skates.

i had a pair and loved the fit. i went from those to synergy 1500's, s15's and now one95's. one95's are the best for fit. it is unbelievable how good they are.

Yes those are exactly what i have.

Im thinking its time to move on tho, and buy something current. Has anyone had experiance with the se16?

My guess is that that store hasn't sold anything since 2004
