Not to sound like a fanboy but my girlfriend got me the Sidney Crosby dvd and I love watching that. To play at his calibre he's bound to get nothing but slack, and I think he handles it quite well. There is a lot of weight on his shoulders.

Geno started with it for the month of October with Brooks Orpik. Then it was on a rotation until Gonchar came back. Since then it's been Geno and Gonch.

I too have the DVD. I think it's great. I wouldn't say i'm a "fanboy", but i'm not about to lie and say he's not my favorite player (though I've been a fan of Mario and the Pens all my life)

I love whenever the Staal brothers play against each other. Can only imagine how awesome it would be to suit up against my bro. Hoping one year they'll all line up together. That'd be a devastating line up, and a wicked penalty kill lol.

Seiggy isn't bad, Errey's as bad as it gets but I don't mind when color guys are shitty. He could be worse, he could be Chico Resch.

yeah its getting really interesting - im betting both teams will be trying to set them up constantly just like what happens when a player has 2 goals and is going for the HT

I think Ovechkin will get it either way.. I mean the guy leads the league in goals and has over 500 shots.. I wonder how many a player like Malkin or Crosby or Hossa etc. would get if they shot 500 times like Ovechkin. I wonder if it pisses off his Capitals teammates

I know they're only looking at this year, but look at Malkin's consistency since Crosby's injury last year. He has been phenomenal every night. While Ovie may lead the league in goals, I think it has to go to Malkin.

Just a little food for thought based on that topic. This was brought up on the Caps board about Ovechkin in relation to Crosby and Malkin:

Only the third player in the history of the NHL to post 200 goals and 200 assists in his first four seasons (Gretzky and Lemiuex are the other two).

To put it in perspective, Malkin would need, if he gets one goal in his last two games, 85 goals next season to reach the milestone. The greatest player in the history of the universe, Sidney Crosby, needs 69 goals in his last two games to reach the feat. I don't like his chances.

While Malkin is without a doubt best player on the Pens. In my probably biases opinion Ovie edges him out again due mostly to the fact he is a goal scorer and carries his team most nights.

i think it would be a good matchup as well - i would say overall the caps are a little bit more talented overall with their forwards - the defense is a wash between the two - and the pens have the advantage in goalies

I don't want to go head to head with the Flyers, I think their depth might be a bit much... would also be a good series I reckon.

Yah, I can't see what's happening lol.

Really wanna see a caps/pens round but that's not gonna happen now. Maybe a carolina/pens series. Just not wanting to see them against the flyers as much, I'd like them to meet later on.
