$30 Wood Bauer One75

$50 Sherwood 9950

Cheap composites are not worth the money over wood in my opinion. The feel dead, the blade is junk, they're just as heavy. They may last longer with all the fiberglass, but you can get 3 wood sticks for the same price that will most likely outlast one $100 OPS.

Pro-stock is an option for a high end composite, but there is no warranty. your best would be wood, or an old closeout from a year ago, or if you can deal with no warranty, pro-stock.

You could look at Innovative sticks from hockey world/peranis if you want. If you do some searching on here you will find that they are actually Warrior sticks. I've got one and love it! I actually like it more than my Easton S11 and it was only $70(the inno)

Bauer ONE75 from all accounts I've heard is a very good stick. I am a huge fan of Montreal sticks, if you can still find them, you're going to get quality great quality, and an unbelievably smooth stick that receives passes beautifully, and is absolutely fantastic for snap shots.

i think ill probably go wood... what would you suggest as far as wood sticks

bauer one60, if you can still find it. A little bit heavy but i love the feel of that stick. Id go either that or a sherwood 5030/7000, depending on how tall you are and what kind of player you are.

Pro stocks, and last year's closeouts are good, as mentioned. I also find shaft/blade combos save me a lot of money. I'm a lot harder on blades than on shafts, so buying a whole OPS is a waste for me unless it's a really good deal.

One70 is probably the only stick under $100 I'd touch...otherwise I'd grab a shaft off eBay/Craigslist/Mod Squad and put a wood blade in there.

Not sure how good the stick is but I just got an email from HG that they have a special on the Mission Wicked ops, half price which makes it $75 w/ a coupon code of "wicked0122". It looks like a decent stick and the price isn't bad, I'd pick one up but I'm in between paychecks right now.

Yea, I agree if you're looking to save money, buy a good shaft and and then a blade to go with it. If the blade breaks, replace it for a lot less then replacing a one piece

I highly recomend the one75 as someone has already mentioned. When this one breaks i'll definately be buying another one. I go back and forth between this one and my prostock two piece christian torch. I like the wood just as much.
