Are Sherwood the only company that does 1/2 sizes

Recommended Posts

I tried a search for +half +glove but I didn't return anything, so apologies if this is a repeat topic.

Are sherwood the only company that do 1/2 sizes at the retail level?

I think based on fittings, that I'm an in between person, which is why I've been trying so many glove types.

Anyway, are there any other manufacturers that do half sizes without going custom.

Cheers

Vaughn used to, there are a few knocking around on ebay. But as for current retail models, not very many... none come to mind

Based on my 9950 15.5" glove it's a 15" glove with a bigger cuff. You can probably find gloves that fit you by going with longer-fingered gloves like NBH... Or going a size up in shorter finger gloves such as RBK/Reebok/CCM. Volume of the fingers will also make a difference, so a NBH 4-roll will feel longer in the fingers than a one90.

Any idea where the Hespelers came from?

My basic issue is the palm on the gloves sometimes seems short. But the bigger gloves are too loose in the fingers.

So, for the most part 14" = good fingers, short palm, 15 = Good palm, too big in the fingers

Have you tried on the older Easton line, cut in half sizes. These 14.5" are on sale at hockeyworld:

Easton Air Hockey Gloves ('02 model): $90 (beware of wrist wrap tho)

http://www.hockeyworld.com/prodHome.ihtml?...D=55&shop=1

Easton Synergy Pro Hockey Gloves: $60

http://www.hockeyworld.com/prodHome.ihtml?...D=55&shop=1

Or maybe try the Eagle X72s.
