Chadd 916 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 Damn, if I spent that much on pants, I'd be avoiding contact like Kovalev.
mack 44 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 No need for spine protection if they were made up for Kovalev too.
Kovy_Ribs_Fedo 3 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 I don't like to have spine protection. So it's why I was not a fan of the 04 Air model. That's alot of money but I'm sure I will enjoy them for a while, at least 4-5 years.

Kovy_Ribs_Fedo 3 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 I would've gotten Tackla 5000 Pros for cheaper. I tried a pair of 5000 pro at my LHS and don't like them too much. I like the fit of the air and I don't find them bulky.
daiski 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 Cyclone Taylor used to carry Easton Air NHL pro pants for around 100cdn, but it's plain black w/o any team logo. I wish I bought those instead of my 2002 Air pants, which is crappy.

Hell, Ryan would give you them for free, and you spent $255 friggin dollars on pants...You do know thats US currency right?Well, i guess thats the price of becoming the next kovalev
RadioGaGa 162 Report post Posted September 10, 2004 ROFL, 17 or the 19 bids were from you. You could've easily had those pants for 1/2 the price if you didnt drive the price up! That just means he had a high Max bid...ebay only shows bids that beat the highest....so everytime someone bid without beating him it looks like he's bid against himself...The question I have is was that his highest bid....or was there still room above that for someone to push him higher....and if they had would he have gone higher...?Kovy? How high would you have gone for them?
