Warrior returns

Recommended Posts

So I busted a Johnson shaft rather quickly and Warrior handled the return very well, in fact they even upgraded the shaft into a brand new RH Federov pattern Johnson stick. I don't want to sound like a complainer but the only problem is that I shoot lefty.

Two questions:

1. Anyone ever had this happen?

2. Is the Johnson stick a new model? I've never seen one.

You should probably call them.

That or sell it, I'm sure it's worth more than the $80 for the shaft and $21 for shipping.

Call them, they might not even bother with wanting you to return it. I've seen companies ship two sticks when they make a mistake.

warrior is very good with quick returns but i have seen them screw things like that up before. Some thigns you can do is take the stick to your lhs and see if they will let u trade it for another warrior since warrior does not stamp their returns. Also you can call and most likely they will just send you the right stick. I had a friend who sent in 2 lefties and got 2 righties.. he traded them in at our lhs for 2 lefties, then he called Warrior and they sent him 2 lefties. So total he got 4 sticks.....

I wouldn't go as far to say that's the honest approach. +1 for just calling them.

I'd just call them and explain that they sent you a RH stick

When you do call them, and YOU WILL, always remember: you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. Be polite & courteous and tell them how much you appreciate them taking care of a broken stick quickly...hell...even ask if there's any inside jokes to how they name your OPS.

When you explain the problem, don't offer to send it back - simply ask 'what should I do?'

If they say they'll send you a Johnson blade, go for the jugular - ask if they have any blemished/scratch & dent blades/OPS YOU want. Play it off like its a good opportunity to try something different and if they have blades/sticks sitting in bins collecting dust b/c they were painted poorly, wrong blades on them, returns, etc that you'll take them off your hand instead of a perfectly good blade/OPS they'll send you anyway.

Couldn't hurt to ask.

Have a conversation - make a friend & take down their name for a follow-up thank you letter (not email). Management LOVES this kinda stuff and it'll give the person who take care of you some props or maybe a free lunch on the house.

Take care of people & they'll take care of you. And if you have a problem in the future with a Warrior product - take a guess who will do their best for ya?

Networking my friend...

two year ago when I broke a easton synergy 350 int. with a sakic curve they did send me back a 350 with a iginla curve, I didn't do anything about it so it has collected dust until now when my dad has been using it for coaching

yea you should call them they will most likely fix the problem... bauer sent someone i know a righty instead of a lefty...so he called them and they ended up sending him 2 lefts and told him to keep the right...

So I called them and the gave me two options, return the stick to a lhs and exchange it for another one or send it back and they would send me a lefty. After calling my local shop and determining that the didn't have anything going with option two. I did ask them to pay for shipping as I already have had to do that once already and they said they will find a way to do that for me.

Kind of inconvienent to have to ship something twice due to a manfacturing issue and then a common sense issue.

It is, but maybe they'll make it up to you with the return package. For as much crap that Easton takes, I've never had a problem with their CS.

I don't remember having dealt with Easton but Mission has had some awesome customer service.

IMO if you're getting a Johnson OPS for a shaft, you're being downgraded. but thats just what i would think.
