Funny story about the AGs... I spent 2 hours ion the store trying on pretty much every available skate. Vapors turned out to be too wide in the heel, same thing with Vectors. Fuel 110XP's were extremely stiff, and I'm not a very big kid anyways (plus I'm still growing), so by the the time I broke them in I'd be out of the skates. They didn't have Grafs, Eastons, or RBKS in my size, and the AGs ended up fitting best (besides a minor pressure point that was fixed by baking, so I went with them). I think I have the "upside down triangle" foot shape, except my foot's not very wide.

The blade on the Nilson is pretty interesting, shorter in height than normal SR blades, but same length, and has a grip coating on the forehand.

It's a senior stick in a 67 flex. Def not an intermediate sized handle.

I have a pro return Nilson XN10 and it is a whip flex. I shot around with a pro return Nilson XXX Lite and it was a 77 flex. I'm assuming it is the same Nilson. Is yours a RH stick? The blade shape is more rectangular (equal height throughout the blade), than say a Drury retail, which is gets a little fatter towards the tip of the blade.

Yes, it is. They also had a couple Nilson 77 flexes as well as some 87s. Guess he was experimenting with flexes.

Humm.. what? how did you cut that?

For a little while I had been having trouble finding tapered wood blades in the pattern I use, so I purchased about 5 One60 blades. I used a belt sander to shave down the hosel to that of a taper blade, and shaved the other parts so it would fit into a tapered shaft. Works very well thus far, I have had no durability problems from shaving it down.
