Hockeyman11385 1 Report post Posted May 14, 2009 I was just surfing around and noticed that the new Eagle website (www.eaglehockey.com) is up and running. Looks like a nice website with lots of Flash work. Doesn't look like much in the way of gloves has changed except for the addition of the X88. The Customizer isn't up yet unfortunately. I noticed that they are now producing pants. Who did they merge with to do that? I seem to remember Tackla but I could be wrong.
DCott 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2009 X88's look good. The backhand also looks just like L7s.

xstartxtodayx 343 Report post Posted May 14, 2009 Looks like a nice website with lots of Flash work. The last thing the internet needs is more flash.I agree... I hate Flash websites, I looked at the girdle and a pair of gloves, that was all I could take, I'll just wait use HM or HG to check out anything else since their sites are a lot better. Hockeyman11385 1 Report post Posted May 14, 2009 I thought that Vaughn owned Tackla and knew they bought Eagle. I was just looking for confirmation.I guess I should have worded it differently, it's a nice website EXCEPT for all of the Flash. Can't say that I'm much of a Flash fan either. Gummer12 134 Report post Posted May 14, 2009 Cool.. Thanks for the help there bud, what was the point of even posting that?I was looking for a date, not something as obvious as that.Well the OBVIOUS thing is there is Rarely a Set Date for a Web Design to be finished. It's not like a product release date with tangible products.
GekigangarIII 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2009 I have a pair of X88, very nice glove. Good flex points on the last two knuckles (similar as mentioned to the old M-1 and the L7), contoured split-fingers and some extra flexibility on the thumb/forefinger area. The thumb area is redesigned as well too, looks sharp. I really like the design of the area behind the thumb (looks more angular), I didn't even really notice it until I had them in my hands because none of the product documentation really shows it (the area with the stitched eagle head).I'll probably do a review for them once I've gotten some more ice time in them.
