Which glove?

Recommended Posts

Ok, im deciding between the tps r8 lite and the tps r8 pro lite gloves, what do you guys think i should go for? Apart from one being 50/50 and the other being nylon aswell as having different palms are there any other differences?

I found the 50/50 ones feel a bit more comfy and seem to fit a bit tighter than the all nylon. I went back and forth on the R8's for a year or so before finally getting a pair off an MSH'er a couple months ago. They fit great, a bit looser than what I'm used to, but broke in quickly. I will say the 50/50 vinyl already has a tear in it, so keep that in mind. Also, I took a slash the other day and it got my pinky good as there's not much on the sides. But they're cheap and good quality. I'll probably rock them for as long as possible, so long as they don't have any major issues, and maybe look at some Eagles down the road.

I just bought the all nylon R8s a couple of weeks ago. They are already a pretty loose fitting glove compared to others, but I took out all the liners to make them even more loose fitting. I absolutely love them. They are a really light glove from what I was coming from. (easton pro 4400)

Get 'em in nylon. Nicer, lighter. Still durable. All TPS R8s gonna be on the wide fitting side. No big deal. You'll get used to them even w/narrow hands.

08 and 09, haven't seen a catalog, I'd go with the 08's due to price and you know the quality is good.

I've got the all nylon blackouts from EWH. very good gloves, seem pretty durable and its nice to get plastic inserts for that price :)

Appears in 09 they added a 3-piece index finger.

The 08 model I has a 3-piece index finger as well

Yeah, I realized that after I posted and read what I wrote after I got in. :) Good job on the correction.
