broke my stick last night

Recommended Posts

ok, going to try and explain this the best i can, i broke my last tps amour control x10 perry curve and that was the last of my stock, i like the deepness of the curve and wouldt mind trying some of the new sticks that are out but after looking at my lhs, nothing really looked as deep as the perry, the closest one i found was the easton Iginla. anyone have any other i should look at?

You'd think the Lindros (P88 Bauer), Afinogenov (TPS) or Naslund (Bauer P92) would offer you a deep curve. The Bauer P14 is nice too

Have you tried a Warrior Kovalchuk or CCM THornton? The Yzerman is nice too if you can find one.

Greatskate doesnt have the bergeron only sid, and i said iginla was the closest i could find there, i know its not that deep thats why im looking for the kovachuk, or the symth but would like to see pictures of it, becasue im going to have to order online and dont wanna do it blind.

If you can get your hands on a Malkin pro-stock that would be the best if not a P88 will work nicely. I got an Iginla the other day as I wanted to jump on the Easton stick bandwagon and I'm not a fan so far....

Where are you located? I know you said you wanted to try something new, but the Sportchek near me has about half a dozen Perry R8's in stock.

Isnt Great Skate over in Buffalo?

Sakic is a bit more open than the Thornton or Naslund, but curves nicely. I seem to be able to hit a Sakic much easier than other similar curves coming from a Naslund/Lindros/Thornton. I love my P14 curve, but I have to be careful with it, or my snapshot will go flying over the net by a wide margin.

Hey kicksave im in Buffalo myself too, if you know where the holiday rink is down by the galleria they have a TON of different pro stock sticks with assorted curves, actually had a Malkin pro stock last time I was there (but im a righty unfortunately). Leisure rink is run by the same people as well in orchard park, so they may also have some decent selection. And for those outside of Buffalo, the selection of sticks on Greatskate's website is deceiving, on the shelves they lack A LOT, they have more Eastons than you know what to do with though....

I would definately recommend Warriors. I would try a Draper or Smyth curve, they're both somewhat deep.

Too bad, those Perry's are located in British Columbia.

Website has nothing on it really, Holiday rink had tons of Vapor 40s and One90s in lots of player patterns. All for 130 a stick. Not sure what leisure has but seeing as how the same people own both, probably something similar.

There's a whip flex one (C4C armor - Perry) RH listed on ebay, ends today... in about 11 hours. price is certainly right, too. I just searched TPS and it came up. Thought of your post when I saw it.
