i saw him interviewed on tsn moments after he was drafted and the interviewer just named off avs players and duchene knew their model sticks and what type of curve they each used

He was naming some of the curves of the Avs players after he got drafted. It was during

interview around 5:58 into the video.

I heard the interview and was thinking about how many of our guys could rattle off the same info.

He is from a town that is near my cottage (Haliburton, Ontario). Watched the draft in one of the local watering holes, and they were going nuts when his name was called.

Might have been an even louder cheer when they showed a clip of him shooting in his driveway, with a bug hat on!
