I posted these early on in the season. They look similar to what Afinogenov was wearing.

hope they come out dark grey at retail, they look unreal. Anyone wearing them without LS2s?

There is a difference between the relationship McGill has with Bauer to test and use product with launching a new skate at the pro level with maximum exposure.

Exactly.

And way before the X60 sticks came out, they were playing with blacked out version of them that had X60 hand written on them with a sharpie.

Zetterberg had a new pair of eastons on.

Zetts back in his old skates again I see. Cant keep him out of them for long eh. Mesh gussets on his gloves or what?

In last year's final for some reason he wore Cleary's Eastons, Cleary has had the mesh gussets on his for at least as long as he has been with the Wings. I guess Z liked them and now there on his gloves as well as I do not believe he had mesh on previous gloves.

anyone notice in he 3rd pic Hiller has a new Koho design on his blocker?

KOHO on all including the stick, Is RBK paying for this or was KOHO bought and I missed it somewhere?

RBK owns Koho, but GoalieMonkey (and by extension the larger company) are the driving force behind Hiller's Koho gear. If RBK had to pay the standard NHL fees to use the Koho branding (which seems reasonable, since they do pay for CCM), there may well be some sort of agreement in place between RBK and GM as the sole retailer of Koho-branded gear.

Looks like Dany Heatley is in S15's. Is he switching back and forth or what?

He's been in them for a while now or at least since the start of the season as far as I know. I've been wanting to see him in the LE's. I can say I still love my S15's. :D

I was wondering if there was some kind of loophole about this. Maybe a long term deal from when KOHO was an official jersey supplier. I just don't see GM selling the amount of Koho pads to make it worth paying the standard NHL fees.

I imagine there isn't a loophole, or any umbrella-brand could claim that each subsidiary's pads were merely a brand, and pay one fee: just call it the Adidas Reebok Revoke.

On the other hand, the NHL has such a hard-on for big business that it wouldn't surprise me to find just such a loophole.

Is he really that picky about his gloves...? Or is it an OCD thing? LOL

Yes, and he's just a really weird guy.

He insists upon having his gloves repalmed weekly for a start. Secondly, he goes through about 6-8 pair PER GAME. When he left, 2 BOXES of gloves went with him. And he is deffinately a strange bird.....even compared to other Finns. They always kept to themselves here, but Juice was by far the most awkward. Everyone on the team barring Modano that is. ;)

Geez 6-8 pairs of gloves per game, and i though kopitar was crazy changing gloves every period, and repalming every week wow that's crazy, but i guess if you can do why not
