Haha, the sheep even has a crooked nose and is missing a tooth. :D

Those holders are definitly "unique" they remind me of like a cheap website graphic with the flame and the 8

From my understanding the IOC is not a fan of any sort of logo from any corporation. Other than on equipment, you don't see many athletes in any sport showing who their sponsors are.

Not a fan of the holders, much too gaudy for me. Just play hockey Alex.

no doubt. hopefully some hockey canada product(thug)) will rock his world (Patrice Cormier style? for not being a robot.

He does "just play hockey." He's one of the top 2-3 players in the world and plays with a passion that 95% of other players do not have. Some people are starting to sound Don Cherry ignorant here.

Speaking of Don Cherry, did anyone see the Sid the Kid V. Alexander the Great Olympians special on NHL Network? There was a clip in there that had Ovie doing a Don Cherry impersonation. Pretty funny.

i agree 100% there, cherry is a tool. just poking fun at the fact that people actually respect him.

That was freakin hilarious...and he did a pretty good impersonation too. Good for him...challenge the old guard.

But...from the gear sighting perspective...Ovie needs a fashion consultant on those flames on his holders. Red with the Russian flag would have been dirty...but those flames...yech!

Ya gotta love the Finnish snowboarder last night who lifts up his board and shows the Burton logo across the bottom and is pointing at the logo as if to say "thanks to my guys at Burton!"

The Under Armour "UA" is fairly prominent on many skiers unis as well.

I dont know if I saw it right or not, but the USA team gloves say 'USA' on the cuffs and on the side of the cuffs it had an Easton E. Team USA is being sponsored by Easton?

No. The guys who wear easton have easton gloves with USA on the cuff because the easton logo is too big for IOC standards. Same with every other piece of equipment that has a smaller logo. Canada guys who wear easton have the same gloves with CANADA on the cuff. But once again, each player is wearing whatever gear they feel like wearing.

Easton is running the equipment repair for every team and has a very large presence at the Olympics. They will be pushing hard to get a lot of players into their gear.
