They're EPros with Sher-Wood stitched over the roll. Nothing crazy. I always wondered why SWD didn't request they cover the Easton logo on the inside of the cuff as well.

I couldn't really even read that as sherwood, It just looked like a poor job spraying over the logo or something, while the logo on the inside of the cuff is clear as day.

I guess that's an issue with Sherwood's logo design then.

that's an albany jersey anyway not the canes.

guys it's a photo shoot for Time Out New York. the details aren't going to be perfect.

Don't know, but the Franchises look really cool.

the gloves are photoshopped. i forgot how i got to the outake photos but they used regular NJ gloves in the shoot.

yes, but I doubt this is the first time NJ would allow any of the new jerseys (sorry about the pun) to be seen. Considering how guarded they are about pretty much everything I don't think they would release a brand new 3rd jersey for just a band photo shoot even if it is a throwback.

They would have had to find an old school one I would think.

I would imagine it's an old school jersey. There is no NHL shield on the bottom of the neck line like you see on the other jerseys

Avery wearing the new Easton EQ5 skates in warm-ups tonight against the Sens. Must be a reaction to hurting his foot after taking a hard shot last game. Still looks to have the big flopped Graf tongues with the new skates. They look sharp.

The hurricanes wear red gloves, and no one can wear that jofa anymore.

Well, other than Selanne, I don't thnk anyone else can wear it.

I may have been misled, but what I heard was the helmet was no longer certified for use in the NHL, so no one could start using it, but because Selanne has been using it all along, he is an exception to the rule. In particular, I heard Jagr was not allowed to wear that helmet in New York after switching to an RBK for an extended period of time.
