Ovechkin has sticks in his curve from CCM, Easton, Bauer, and add Warrior to that list now. He's still with CCM, but that doesn't stop other companies from providing one of the best players in the world with their sticks on a, "trial," basis.

@krev, When I played in the Bauer tournament we played a seattle thunderbirds AAA team who had all Ballistik gloves I think. Anyway those gloves and sticks looked nice.

I did not like the .52 glove at all.

the curves are clones of popular patterns from other manufacturers.

TC (toe curve)- Easton's P3

MC (mid curve)- Easton's P4

HCS (heel curve square)- Easton's P5

HCR (heel curve round)- Easton's P6

SC (spezza curve)- Sherwood's Spezza

IC (iginla curve)- Easton's P7

CC (coffey curve)- Sherwood's Coffey

Yeah, they went through us for those.

I did not like the .52 glove at all.

Nor did I. The .45 glove is a better fit, IMO.

They feel cheap.

The glove overall isn't bad... but it's not great either. Has nothing on Eagle's or Pro Easton's, for sure.

The gloves are weird. The fingers are true to size, but the rolls and cuff add about an inch. So, the 13" gloves are 13" fingers with what feels like a 14.5 roll and cuff. The liner is pretty run of the mill, good plastic insterts, but the thumb is brutally underprotected IMO.

The .52 pants are pretty comfy, but last years model was much more breathable.

I saw the totals and the ones today in person, and they are pretty sick. I like the tongue on the one 100's better though, they are a solid stock length, not to thick, not too thin. PERFECT. *now figuring out how to get a pair of these in the house without my wife noticing* lol

Keep them in the bag until they get slightly beat up, then when she sees them, "oh those, I've had them for a while."

Just noticed this while glancing at Ovie pictures on Yahoo Sports.

One 08-style Vector glove, and one 09-style Vector glove.

From looking at the other pictures, it looks like he's been switching back and forth between styles.

Didn't have a camera on me but I just noticed Devin Setoguchi of the San Jose Sharks sport some Easton EQ5's during a practice last week. Don't know if he's been in them for a few practices or if that was the first practice he decided to give em a test run in.

Though, today against the Coyotes, he was back in his X60's <_<

I would be pissed too... it's pretty sweet. (This is coming from somebody using athletic knit jerseys, which are basically like wearing a bath towel)
