Actually the Panthers sold well in Miami Arena. It only held 14,792. It is when they decided to build the 19,000 huge arena in the swamp.

But it is one sweet stadium and parking is a breeze.

Aint that the truth. Beautiful place to see a game or show, and I can go from the arena seat to my living room seat in 15 minutes.

Adam Savage, the co-star of the television show “MythBusters,” spent an episode last year taking apart Moon hoax theories bit by bit, entertainingly and convincingly. The theorists, he noted, never give up. “They’ll say you have to keep an open mind,” he said, “but they reject every single piece of evidence that doesn’t adhere to their thesis.”

We did not land on the moon.

The moon does not properly have any land, since there is no sea with which to oppose it.

Technically, we 'mooned' on the moon.

Ha. Love this fact.

That most definitely is a VERY cool thing.

There is a full-size display of the LEM at the Smithsonian and its simply amazing we used that to keep humans alive to get onto and off of the moon. The skin of it is so thin that you can probably push your hand thru it.

Some have referred to it as being like a tent made of tinfoil, although there were multiple layers.

The entire Apollo Saturn V is a completely mind-blowing vehicle. I worked at McDonnell Douglas where we made the 3rd stage and got to rub elbows with some of the people who designed and built the stuff.

The coolest day on my job at work was probably when we had just started a new development program (Delta Clipper) and I turn the corner and sitting there in Pete Conrad. He was one TOTALLY awesome guy, not an arrogant A-hole as some might think he would cut jokes at will and had an incredible technical intellect as well. After working in the Aerospace Launch Vehicle business for 27 years I can tell you that his personality was very unique.

If anyone ever gets the chance, NASA has a HUGE display of the Apollo V on static display at the Cape.

What is so intriguing to me is that they did this with what we would think of today as pretty much no computational capability. We don't make a phone call today without using a hand held computer. And these guys went to the moon and back.

Yeah, that is some really cool stuff.
