Peranis in Livonia is good for selection, i mean its a huge store. But, the service sucks, and beleive me, if you want something they dont have, it is not easy to get ahold of. They are too big for that, team orders and personal special orders take a long time, and often get lost.

My friend doesnt think the service sucks. He bought a Stealth from them last Wednesday and paid for ground shipping to Boca Raton, Florida. They ended up screwing up some how and he got it Friday, Two day shipping. He thinks that it is always going to happen. I guess he just got lucky.

A few that come to mind are Hockey1 which is South Windsor Arena, its like 10 mins from my house and my school plays there, they got everything but Inno, but they are very expensive. Then in Springfield there's Berteli's (sp) which is a package store that has a basement full of prostock stuff then there is gateway hardwhare in springfield which is a great store and has great prices, and my favorite online is cyclone taylor, I've bought 2 pairs of skates there and they have been perfect

Bertelli's,I've never been, because I havent heard of it before this year. Can you give me an example on their prices?? My friend who plays high school hockey says he got Bauer 7000s for $70 from them. Which if he wasnt given a special deal, sounds sick. I need a new pair of skates and I wonder if I should go to them instead of Gateway??

Gateway has "great prices" on a few things and average-to-high prices on alot of things.I bought the synergy elbow pads for $60, the Bauer XV gloves for $80 which I consider "good" prices from them. I also picked a pair of 2002 Mission RL skates for $120, which is $40 more than alot of online retailers are selling them for. Most of the gloves are horribly overpriced. $120 for Easton Airs(then again, they sell the synergys for $120 which isnt bad), $140 for XXs and $80 for Easton ULs...pretty bad on those 3...They are also pretty late on getting news from companies. They just recently marked the Carbster as closeout, even though it has been on manufactuers closeout for 6-8(at least that I know of) months? I asked them about the Mission Helium series last month and they looked at me like I had 4 heads.

United Cycle because they have all the good stuff but Totem Outfitters because its basicly all prostock.

I would have to say United Cycle is the best i've been to, Totem is OK but there stuff is usually all broken and high priced, did they have any Inno last time you were there?

ok you havent been in for awhile the tri flex is 149 and one thing the tfg is still an existing model and we do have to meet margins on stuff we sell cause if we dun then we cant bring in all the stuff you do also we are reducing our prices on most stuff.infact compared to national were either cheaper or equal too them in skates. we just reduced the xx too 599.99.
