I think the reason it looks round is because he's putting the grip tape over the top of it. I have my stick taped like that, but I put a piece of regular cloth tape on the knob, over the top of the grip tape. I figured that'll save a little wear and tear on the palms.

considering there was a lockout that season i am guessing it wasn't that year. And the stick in the picture was the stick he used for the 06-07/ 07-08 seasons.

Hey does ovie still curve his own sticks from a sakic-ish curve or are CCM and bauer making the curve themselves? I know he was curving the old vectors but maybe they've built a mould for him nowadays??
