Kirsch 1 Report post Posted October 7, 2004 I use Pomade from J-Crew. Good stuff, holds all day and has a real good look to it.
LkptTiger 1 Report post Posted October 7, 2004 Nothing works for me, but I think that is probably due to the fact that I have a pretty good shag going on right now; my friends (and even my AP U.S. History teacher) have been refering to me as "Frodo" since the school year started. Fedorov91 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2004 You get what you pay for. If you use cheap gel that costs $2 for a big bottle then your hair will just flake and look like you have dandruff by the end of the day. I use this stuff called Texturizing Cream by Crew and your hair looks like it's gelled but your hair feels soft still instead of all hard and crusty and it doesnt flake. They also make pomade and some fiber stuff that I hear is pretty good.

all-star 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2004 dippity doo, its cheap. i got some on sale, 2 for 3 bucks, awesome deal. it never flakes on me
Fedorov91 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2004 mmm, I just realized that the reason cheap gel looks all "dandruff-y" on me when it gets messed up is because I have dark black hair and it shows up easily. You blondies and brown haired whiteboys dont really have to worry about that, lol

predshockey17 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2004 I usually use Paul Mitchel(sp) moose. Works good and you don't get that white shit like you get in gel. I wore no moose today and so many girls said my hair looked a ton better.

Chris_H 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2004 Gel is for a slick look, wax is for hold but not an obvious look and more subtle appearance, pomade is more for shine and doesn`t harden on you, as gel would.
