OPS Stick Graphics

The first AK 27 is my favorite looking stick. In the last year I really like the Reebok 10k. Keeping it simple with but also you can tell what they are from a distance. The vector logo on the fuse point looks good IMO.

I will lean towards sticks that I think look better unless they review/perform horribly. A couple that I like are the CCM u+ cl and v10 from a few years ago and if I couls spray the bottom half of a Warrior swizzle white it would be pretty nice.

I don't care about looks (for a while I used an orange si core as a shaft), but I have to say that Easton's tend to look pretty good, especally the stealths. I also love the look of the vapors.

I like the look of some sticks like ccm u+ cl and bauer one95 but they just dont compare to easton sticks. But other then the looks for me, im set on the iginla curve so its only sherwood and easton sticks. But if it were all about looks it would still be easton.

I would have to agree with bostonjuniorblackhawks about the stick graphics being on the bottom of the list.

I think sticks looked their best around the middle of the last decade. Sticks like the original Easton Stealth, Easton Synergy Grip (yes, the yellow one) and the Bauer Vapor XX come to mind. In recent years, the Bauer One95 and the 2010 Easton Stealth S19/ST have restored my faith that was temporarily swept away by Warrior's purple and neon green "nipple-gripped" confections of horror, Reebok's swiss cheese shaft, and CCM's half-baked twist on the "Demonized" font. Unfortunately, CCM didn't stop there and went on to create a stick covered in muscles. Honestly, who over the age of 12 thought that was a good idea? The only explanation I can think of was that it was a suggestion from the CCM marketing manager's girlfriend that he greenlighted for the sake of his sex life.

Thankfully, Bauer and Easton seem to be moving in the right direction. Hell, even Easton's new ABS stick looks so good that it makes me want to take up street hockey again. But you really want to sell me a stick? Make it feel good. The One95 is as close to wood as I've ever tried. How Bauer is also responsible for the Vapor XXXX, one of the worst feeling sticks I've ever tried, is what I can't sort out.

I am a big fan of the majority black graphics packages. I think the Reebok and Bauer top of the line models as well as the S19 look great.

Even the Warrior Dolomite DD is quite nice looking in spite of the dragon. For once, the bright colors are used rather tastefully.

Yes the look does influence my decision to buy. It is not the ultimate deciding factor but it does carry some weight.

I like the 2009 TPS R8 and R10 graphics. Very simple, yet effective. Hey Chadd, you have any pictures of the R9's?

What I like about Easton/Warrior graphics is how the shaft shape and material come through the graphics and paint; you can feel the shaft if that makes sense. The other brands almost have a "plastic feel" because of how smooth they are.

Graphics certainly don't influence my purchase, but, they definitely do in the grand scheme of things.

this sums my feelings up pretty nicely.

i hate the slippery clear coat feel of many of the new bauers and all of the reeboks.

that said, i do like the look - from a purely aesthetic point - of the 10k and new bauer lines.

I think overall, Easton's come out with the best looking sticks on the market, but my top-3 favourite graphics have to be:

1. Bauer (not NBH) ONE95, retail colourway.

2. Bauer Vapor XXX

3. Easton Synergy ST, 1st-gen (All silver)

I miss tps sticks/shafts :(

I still think there needs to be a TriCore OPS developed. I really liked the feel and performance of that shaft, square version, that is.
