Anyone ever ordered from them? Some things like carrying only stuff circa 2003 and nothing about shipping rates seems weird. I guess thats because theyre in New Zealand, but still.

Yep. Darrin was great to work with. By the time I paid shipping to the US I got what I wanted for my Jofa elbow pads at no worse of a price then I've seen them being sold for on here or eBay.

The website is great, it definately brings back memories of equipment past. As for ordering, I havent personally and dont know if I would want to test the shipping and customs rates to Canada. And the shipping time as well. Still brings me back with those original Vapors

Well, I seriously dont care about shipping time and i guess shipping rates for a pair of gloves certainly isnt above 40 $ (at least you'd hope so!) but the thing is their gear is overpriced and the website looks shady at best. As if they didnt update it since 5 years, if you know what i mean lol. Btw, Too Old, how much did you pay for shipping, considering elbow pads and gloves weight about the same?

Total around $120 for pads/airmail. Cheaper now with them all but gone and one pr left of each Jofa when I looked last week. Don't think I was the only one to grab a pair when the link got posted here, lol. Very open and honest with any and all of my questions. I believe they ship international packages every Friday. He's quick to answer email inquiries if you have questions. He said 6-10 days in transit; I expect them to be here early this coming week. Will gladly post up when they arrive and all is safe and sound. CC billing statement was dead-on what he told me it'd be. Don't forget to figure the exchange rate in.

The original Vapor skates. Has a bunch of different Vapor 8's in the adult skate section

Are you sure this isnt a old site from a company that closed down a few years ago?

Elbows showed up today; very happy with their communication/service. Would do business again for sure if they had something I absolutely wanted to have.

What is the exchange rate? The prices appear to be in US dollars, but arent they in NZ dollars?

It was roughly $120 USD shipped. Not pretty... but no worse than what I've seen selling on here/eBay lately, ouch.

$1NZ = $0.70 USD

So stuff is actually cheaper than it seems.

Also bear in mind it is New Zealand, about as far away from the USA as you can get.

Hockey is a really small sport down here, so there is not the same demand as in the US.

I own sk8.co.nz. It has been running for over 10 years and was New Zealands largest hockey retailer for many years.

At present we are in the process of closing it down, so over the next few weeks all remaining gear will get reduced right down.

So if you want to grab some old no longer available items check us out !!!
