Chadd

Hejduksport Visor

Are these visors HECC approved for USA? Do you know if this company has insurance on their visors?

The website says that they are waiting for HECC certification, you would have to ask them about insurance.

I wondered what you knew since you talked with them. My understanding is they do not have insurance. It might be hard to maintain that price point once they get it. They would be taking a risk to sell without it.

MH100-2.jpg

not trying to start an arguement but chadd it looks like they sent you a mh990 rather than the 100 coz if you look at the side its got the same round "spot" compared to the 100 which kinda goes straight into it if you get me but thats just my observation :P edit: actually not too sure not but psst think i'm just confusing myself

Are they making a visor/cage combo like it shows on their website? Or is that just a replacement for the Oakley? Dig the chrome cage anyway, compared to the Oakley black.

Yes, they have their own combos. One version with the "flat" visor and one with the "convex" style visor.

So the label on the other side of the visor is wrong?

Chadd, will these be available for purchase online? Their web page is down right now, so I was just wondering what you knew about the availability of these visors in the near future?

Given the amount of interest they seemed to gather at the show, I would expect them to be available online from multiple sources.

Here's hoping that they are introduced soon. I need a new visor and would like to give the MH 100 tinted a try. I tried emailing them, but it keeps bouncing back to me.

I never asked about insurance. In any case, that is a business decision for them and beyond the purview of my review.

I tried emailing them, but it keeps bouncing back to me.

Once they are available, you will see them for sale. If you have any questions not related to buying one right now, PM it to me and I will try to get an answer for you.

Given the new CSA enforcement and my understanding of the standard, I believe they will require changes to meet CSA standards.

Hi,

I saw your questions....

Here you have some answer:

our product are ready for sale on www.hockeyhutstore.com, we will have all visors insured and price gonna be the same.

So basic retail price for Proline visor is 61.99.............. Proline tinted 64.99..............Standart Convex 45.99

First couple of months we gonna have all 10 different models but after 3 ro 4 months we gonna continue only with 6 of them.

I hope we gonna have certified visors by end of this month. We will have 3 models certified.

Convex Combo ..... will come to US market certified by and of august.

anybody else got one of these yet?

feedback?

I bought the MH200 a couple of months ago. In the past i have used an Itech HS22 Aviator and an Oakley modified aviator. The Hejduk is really no better or no worse than either the Itech or the Oakley. It has great visibility and i have had zero fogging isues. The spacers are pretty much identical to the Oakley spacers and i do prefer them to the washers you get from Itech. It also came with a handy little wiping cloth, and a bottle of cleaner/anti-fog spray. I wouldnt say that this visor is a "must have", but it is a good deal and they do offer a few different styles that you cant find anywhere else.

FWIW the MH200 looks very similar to the visors that Kovalchuk and Gaborik wear

Yeah that 200 is the one ive been eyeing for the last few months. I like the MH X but I feel like it would be too small, i talked to a retailer and they said MH X is 2.5inch and 200 is 3inch so i don't want to sacrifice protection.

Do you have pics of it on your helmet?

I used my MH700 for the fist time last night. Previous visor was a DX100 and before that was an Oakley Straight (regular, not small). After research, the MH700 seemed close to the Oakley Straight Small. I wanted to try that style since one of the roller rinks I play on is very hot in the summer months. I figure the MH700 would allow for more airflow onto my face.

My DX100 did have some fogging issues and seemed to get minor scratches easily. I was always pleased with my Oakley visors, although my last one took a really deep scratch when a kid with a metal cage ran into me. I don't think any visor would have prevented the scratch.

The MH100 had no fogging issues at all. No reports on scratches since it was just the first game and (thankfully) I took no pucks/sticks/etc to the head.

Although I would agree that the HS visors are no worse or better than the Oakley or Bauer/itech options - they are a better value since they come with everything you need. Oakley seemed to increase their rate to $69.99 from ~$55 before. The HS visors are less money (~$60) and come with the spray and a wiping cloth. The HS visors are also available in a ton of cuts.

I am going to order another MH700 and perhaps a MHX as well (appears to be same design as the MH700/Oakley Straight Small, but with the side cuts).

The retailer I got it from (Hockey Hut) did a decent job as well. Ordered it on Sunday and got it Thursday.

These are 7 models listed on Hockey Monkey now without pictures.

If you look at the first page of this topic, you can see the various models on the side of the box.

Sorry i dont have a digital camera. If it helps the MH200 is almost identical in size to my Itech Aviator. The MH200 is maybe 1/8 inch shorter/smaller from top to bottom but the cut, or wave is identical. The cut or notch on the side of the visor where it is mounted looks exactly like the one Chadd has pictures of on the 1st page. Long story short is that it looks alot like the one Chadd has except it has less of a wave in the front

Wanted to purchase one but I'm confused

what is ice black and what is black? I've been using a grey tinted oakley and I'd like to stay around the same colour tint or slightly lighter but I don't want to end up with a green visor lol

According to the hockeyhutstore.com site:

"Visor comes in the three colors. Clear, Ice black (light tinted), black (dark tinted) "

So you're probably looking for the Ice Black version.
