well I know polarfibre is a sandpaper grip(i do some search)...but what i would like to know if is a soft or hard sand paper feel??

for people who touch a Franklin Air-core or a Montreal Nitro 8500(i would say these 2 stick have a soft sand paper feel)

but for the Hespeler patriot(where the ''grip-zone'' is) i would say that this feel is more hard than the air core or the nitro

so how would the Inno 1100 polarfibre would be??Soft or hard sand paper feel??

Thanks guys!

I don't think it was ever inended to mimic sandpaper. On a new shaft, PF actually feels a whole lot like hockey tape in my opinion. As you use it over time, I find that it smoothes out and glazes over a bit. I really liked it.

No sandpaper is soft, that would defeat the purpose of using it as an abrasive agent. It has a much more fine grit than the Hespeler Patriot grip.

it does feel like 200 grit sandpaper probably. It feels rough, but not too rough where it will be cutting up your palms instantly, but it will put some wear into your gloves

kk well i might give it a try....and if i really don't like it ...well i will just re sell it lolll

but if it like the montreal nitro....it pretty smooth in my opinions....i jound the grip zone to be a bit too rought but okay since it only a ''zone'' but for all the shaft it would be pretty rought...

its jsut as grippy as doing the candy cane tape job

My buddy uses 1100s with Polarfiber and, while I hate even the sight of it, he really seems to like it. Again, it's totally personal preference. Trial and error, I suppose, is the only way to know if it is something you like.

...I do a slight modification of the candy-cane (I'm sure you have all seen pictures of other guys who do this...I can't take credit for this as my idea). I'll take a long strip of tape and cut it down the middle using an X-acto knife. Then I take one of the thin strands and do the candy-cane deal from a little less than half-way down the shaft to about 18" above the hosel. Then I do the the same thing in the other direction with the other strand. Of course, as I am pretty obsessive, I have to make sure that the strips are evenly spaced and that they cross in the same spot every time on each of my sticks. Yes, I know I have a problem. Anyways - I find this to offer a little more grip then the conventional candy-cane, and a little more confortable in my hands. It's a bit more time consuming, but I think it's worth it.

1100

F*ckin awesome shaft, best ever IMHO. The polarfibre on mine feels a lot like tape (like someone else said) after use. It's not as noticible as the grip in the Nitro.
