Gloves

The good: I think they look beuatiful, great lookin gloves, and they are very light. I assume these palms are either mustang or goatskin from the color, and the feel. Very nice palms.

The bad: More bad then I would like to see. The gloves are VERY stiff, usualy all my eagle gloves were rather broken in, but there seems to be some resistance in the fingers of the palm, where the "palm of the palm" meets the finger section (maybe sewn too tight). And another thing I dont like is the big ass cuff, sure, protection is "nice" but it almost feels like it is restricting my wrist movement.

All in all, I LIKE the gloves, nothing to be too upset about, I know my bad section is rather long, but thats because I expect the best out of eagle. Im using them tonight.

Very cool looking gloves...how long did it take to get them again?

Well from my order to me getting the gloves, 7 months. They actualy put a rush on these and made them in under two weeks (after they realized they werent making the paragons)

They are not nash, so I guess they are mustang. They were suppose to be split fingered, but hey, at least I have the gloves. And mack, I actualy forgot I had that thread from yesterday, so if ye would like to move it, enjoy yourself.

I actualy dont know an exact price, they were going to be like 230-250 for paragons, but the x80s are a good deal less, I will see what the price is when the bill comes :)

Looks like you got the new micro suede palm that is going to be standard for 2005. Your pic isn't the clearest, so, I am venturing a guess, but, I think I am dead on. It is a very nice, soft, yet durable material, which will again, allow Eagle to set itself apart from the rest.

As far as your gloves being so stiff, the fact that they have dual density foams would cause some of that.

My suggestion to you would be to bake them in a skate oven for 2-3 minutes and you will see that they will soften up for you to break in faster.

Won't a home convection oven on a very low setting (around 150°) do the trick? I definitely wouldn't put them in a standard oven.

My dads first impression on the palms was, they have suade palms, and I was like, uhhh huh? Now that you say it, they are without a doubt the micro suade. My first impression was that they were suade, but I didnt know they had a suade palm. My older x80s were pretty much awsome out of the box, these just seem a little stiffer

My custom x80s were very tight as well when they were new. They also seemed to be stitched a bit too tight. It will all settle in after a few games.
