Easton Synergy SE6 / Gaborik is back @ Hockey Monkey

Recommended Posts

I have no idea what the SE 6 is like or if it is the original old style curve.

I would call to find out if you are going to buy them.

Features:

Synergy construction with low kick point for a faster release

Multi-Rib blade construction for increased accuracy

Forgiving blade for easier passing and stick handling

Scroll down for the grip/non-grip multi pak deals

I use an SE6. Its not a terrible stick. Not on par with my dolomiate 2pc, but that's two different price points. I really wish the SE16 would come in the Silver/White. Love that combo.

not surewhere you live but SE6 is on sale in ontario for $69.99. Reg $99.99. Front page of the National Sports flyer that started yesterday. Grip is on sale for $99.99. So HockeyMonkey's price seems a little high.

My roommate uses the SE6 and says it has great balance, if a little more weight. He told me he'd rather use that than any other price point stick. and as for the Gaborik, I think it's an SMU of the old curve, it was discussed here a while back.

It does, just harder to find. The hockey shop had a full supply of them although I think all but maybe one or two are left. Could always call them though.

I would die to have a gaborik/yzerman curve in one of the new higher ends sticks s19/se16. definitely was a fav of mine.

Me too. The SE6 is just too heavy for me. I've used almost all other brands with big hooks and none of them have compared to the high end Gaborik sticks Easton used to make.

+1. I broke my green ST last summer and now I'm down to my 05 Stealth for my last Gaborik curved stick.

Ive used a bunch of lower end sticks, the SE6 has to be one of the best. I broke it pretty easily, but threw a composite focus flex Easton blade in it. Looks good.

I was told by an easton representative that they Gaborik will be reborn as Chara....Not sure if it is true but that is what he said.
