Teemu Selane Bauer X60 Skates

I love the look of Teemu's X60's they're the orginal silver and black ones but painted. Anyone have any better shots of his skates? I was looking everywhere and could only find these

They're not the X60 LE's but almost look like them. You can tell they're the original X60 because the heel is still Silver, the "X's" in the back are Red and the Bauer Badge on the side are Silver with black font.

Any ideas how he got his to look like this? Painted it using what? Especially the part where the eyelets are. They're black like the LE's.

I already have the regular X60's so buying a pair of LE's is not an option. Thanks

Yup. He scored 600 NHL goals. But they do look pretty sweet.

EDIT: Just noticed he's also using a Finnish S19 in the first picture. You'd think those would be saved strictly for international play.

Gonna hijack the thread here for a second - in the second photo on the inside of the tendon guard of his left skate you can see a little piece of white tape. Why do custom/pro skates have this?

On my pair of x:60 customs, that tag has the sizing information on it.

The skate looked like it was spray painted as you can see on the right holder.. it got some black smudges that is most likely spray paint. It couldn't possibly be puck marks because puck marks couldn't make that much of a black spot. Btw if you click the full size pic and look carefully its not a perfect job you can see the bottom sides of the X:60 with its original grayish silver colour.
