I think I'll go with door number 2 on that one especially after scoring the Cup winner. Funny, it is always chalked up to age but Toews is just as young and skilled and nowhere near as cocksure.

Hall's got a kind of "slack jawed yokel" look about him. Seguin seems to carry himself much better. Is Fowler still the solid #3....or did he drop a bit? From what I saw at the WJC and Mem Cup...he's the real deal too!

Might as well add to the "judging a book by its cover" vein. Hall looks like that stereotypical high-school jock who is a total dick. I thought I was harbouring resentment issues going back to high school :P so I kept it to myself. Funny how I'm not the only one .Hell of a hockey player though and they won't be paying him for his personality anyway so sort of a moot point. Welcome to the spotlight kid.

i would say that they will. he made some comments during the interview process and even though i know he said them on purpose, he's already looking the gift horse in the mouth. if edmonton doesn't trade away their top pick, they'll choose seguin. who would you pick to be the face of your product (hockey related or non): hall or seguin.

my problem with him is that he just has a dumb look on his face all the time. an ex i had years ago had a family friend with the same look and i couldn't be around him for very long. he is an amazing hockey player, and thats all i know about him, but my guess is hockey is all he's good at (and lucky him).

I never take mine off unless I'm on the ice. I cut the grass with it, clean, cook, vaccum, it's a watch that's made to be worn.

I think the convo between the two are just different: Briere is a old pro giving advice, Kane is a kid talking to kids.
