Customising bauer 4-Roll gloves.

Recommended Posts

Got myself a pretty sweet pair of navy 4 rolls today. There is a lot of free space on the cuff which gave me the idea of getting my last name sewn on. Has anyone ever done something like this to any pair of gloves before? If so, how did you go about doing it? Did you have to take it to a specialty hockey shop or somewhere like that? I don't want anything fancy, just my last name stitched on the cuff in white.

Any help is appreciated as always!

I believe it's been discussed before, and with the foam there is near impossible without disassembling the glove. That cuff there seems easy enough to pull the seam out of the piping and then embroider onto the cuff fabric. No personal experience with it though, and yes, it would have to be done by a specialty shop. Most like an embroiderer or cobbler?

That is where pro stock gloves get their respective owners' names sewn on, so it can/has been done. Wouldn't be able to tell you how, though...

Maybe make a nameplate and then sew that on?? It would be easier.

Probably not the answer you're looking for though

They have the embroidary done before the glove/cuff is assembled.

Craft stores sell embroidered letters that you can iron on...you could probably glue them on too. Don't know how small they get but we made a little shirt jersey for my kid last year.

Why not just have your name printed instead of stitched?

Is it possible to do that on these gloves? Where would I take it to get that done? Screen printer i'm assuming..
