Playersbench reebok "pro" gloves

Recommended Posts

Received an email today about pro reebok gloves they were selling and am in the market so figured I'd ask.

Here's the link: http://www.playersbench.com/prod.ihtml?pid=5009

Was wondering if anyone has any insight, good gloves or what?

this was discussed very recently - just search. In short us usual there was a difference of opinions, but I personally like this glove - very mobile, tight fit, pro level protection (plastic inserts throughout the glove including the cuff)

I actually picked up a pair of these Reebok TI 4-roll gloves from PB, I've been wanting a pair for a while now and finally budged. They were in fact really stiff in the knuckle area but after only two on-ice sessions they've already broken in nicely, and are much more comfortable now. This was the only problem area for me with the glove. The nash palms are great, its been far to long since I've had my hands in a brand new pair. When it comes to wrist mobility they're everything I could ask for, and the abundant plastic inserts make for awesome protection. The fit is similar to all the other 4-rolls I have worn in the past, from Hespelers, to Sandes, to Eagles, to CCM 4-rolls, to Rbk 4-rolls, and so forth. I think some great improvements would be mesh gussets, a improved wicking liner of some sort, and maybe a thin liner in the fingers to aid in some of the rubbing caused by the initially stiff knuckles/fingers, otherwise great gloves here. Bottom line, am I happy with the purchase? Absolutely. Are the gloves overpriced a little? Absolutely.

I have basically the other pro glove. It's the Rbk 10k pro stock TI(If that's what you call it). Basically a 10k with a 9k cuff. Feel the same way as twiztidwrista, they were really stiff, they are fantastic now, I love them. I'd prefer a pair of the 4-roll pros instead buy, hey I'll take what I can get. Only thing I'd like to do with them is put some MSH2 on them w/white mesh gussets.
