MattKingDelToro 2 Report post Posted August 12, 2010 I've been trying to find our more about these new Easton gloves set for release alongside the EQ50 stick. So far, I've been able to gather that people who saw them in person liked them and the price will be reasonable.

MattKingDelToro 2 Report post Posted August 12, 2010 Yeah, this new glove debuted in Easton's holiday/fourth quarter catalog. I'd be surprised if they updated the EQ line so quickly.

jdksaves 56 Report post Posted August 18, 2010 EQ50 glove. Pretty nice glove. Kind of S19ish with se16 palm
MattKingDelToro 2 Report post Posted August 18, 2010 Wow, they already refreshed the EQ5 line? When are they going to release a quality pro four-roll? I think a well-made E-Pro selling for $150 would actually sell at retail.

michael.yue 2 Report post Posted September 3, 2010 looks like a pretty good glove. I'm glad they got rid of that shiny synthetic material.
Jsmells 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2010 wow right after my team gets EQ5's. These look nice though if they're anything like the 5's I'll take a look at them.
MattKingDelToro 2 Report post Posted September 3, 2010 Like the nylon exterior. Boy, the EQ5 didn't last very long.
TBLfan 25 Report post Posted September 3, 2010 Haven't seen the actual gloves or the EQ5s for that matter but... I like the graphics, moreso on the pro version. The seamless index and pinkie fingers are a nice (albeit borrowed from TPS) feature. Since TPS gloves have gone downhill since the FFH palm disappeared and the shell materials changed, Easton might be a suitable replacement.
elevation 1 Report post Posted September 3, 2010 The seamless index and pinkie fingers are a nice (albeit borrowed from TPS) feature....or the Eagle X65...seamless MSH2..!!I didn't want to dump my old question, but has anyone tried those...i'd like to know how those fit...hmm
burrn 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2010 Easton gloves have too much wrist protection these days and I really don7t like them. And the cuffs are so narrow. It makes the glove look too delicate for my liking.I'm not fond of that synthetic-leather-ish palm. It makes the glove stink(literally). It's a mystery why they don't make a higher quality E-PRO. MattKingDelToro 2 Report post Posted September 4, 2010 In comparison to the pro stock E-Pro, the retail version is far inferior. The fingers are very, very stiff, and the palm isn't as soft. For me though, the fingers really make it unusable. Of course, this is coming from a fairly spoiled glove user. For the price, it probably isn't a terrible value. TBLfan 25 Report post Posted September 4, 2010 If you've ever touched a pro Easton glove, you'd be blown away how crappy the retail E-pro is.
Speedz98 15 Report post Posted September 5, 2010 If you've ever touched a pro Easton glove, you'd be blown away how crappy the retail E-pro is.I can imagine. They certainly aren't uncommon in the NHL. Why Easton doesn't make it available for retail i don't know.. What's with companies some times?
