Gloves with mesh gussets

Recommended Posts

I did a google search and a site search concerning gloves with mesh gussets. For some reason I've got it in my head that I really want a pair with this option. So my question is, what are the best retail options for gloves with mesh gussets? Google search revealed gloves like the S3, but I have Eagles now and would like something a little higher on the totem pole than an S3. Without sifting through every glove out there on the market, do you guys have any suggestions? I love my Eagles, but I'm open to a glove with a more anatomical fit as well.

Or is the best option to troll ebay and the like for something pro stock or custom?

Thanks!

The Warrior Johnson glove had mesh, and should be on sale. The AK27-Pros have mesh as well. Haven't seen many past that. Custom Eagles should be an option though, the upcharge on those customs aren't too bad.

Your main options will be from Warrior. The AK27 Pro, Eraser Pro and some version's of the Bully all have mesh gussets (be careful with the Bully though since there are so many versions).

Some other companies have used lyrca/stretch gussets as well. Off the top of my head the only readily available gloves that have them are the CCM V10, Easton E-Pro, Mission T8 and I believe most of the top Bauer gloves (X60, One95, but NOT the 4-Roll). Lyrca gussets are kinda in between nash and mesh gussets... I think they may breathe better than nash, but not as much as mesh... if that makes sense.

If you stick with the Warrior options above AND want a fit similar to Eagle gloves, you will likely want to look at the AK27 Pro or the Bully's with mesh gussets. The AK27 Pro's width is more like an Eagle PPF. If you have a wider Eagle glove, then the Bully option would be best... The Eraser Pro is a very tight fitting glove.

Thanks guys. I think I'm gonna send my current eagles in to be repalmed and have the mesh gussets added. They've got a small hole developing in the left glove anyway, so why not.

Can you tell me who'll fit mesh gussets, peaches?

Georges does. Peaches won't do them unless you can convince him with a nice wad of cash. I have yet to be successful in that regard however, haha.
