Anyone know what Chara was shooting with? It is not an AK shaft, but I do know it was a two piece.

Diablo graphics..

But could be anything.

PHEW probably.

I read that to in PHEW, true or not?

Dion was using the mako in his last game but switched back to his se16 later on.

Dion Phaneuf was using a black CCM stick. Has he been using CCM for awhile?

That's interesting! Normally Dion plays with his Easton SE stick... Looks like CCM become more recognized since they upgraded the CCM Crazy light stick.

When I dropped by the store, I took a look at the same EQ50s you were talking about. What's weird is that they had the see-thru weights on the blade, just like a retail EQ50. From what I've seen, correct me if I'm wrong, pro stock EQ50s generally don't have the weights (or at least not with the clear window).

I have an Easton EQ50 pro-stock from TSR. "Parise" curve that I bought last year. It is in fact an S19 with EQ50 graphics. There is no EQ50 weight on the blade. However, there were other EQ50 prostocks available at the time that looked like real EQ50 with the weights in the heel.

i was watching the super stills again today and noticed a few guys that were trying out new gear during it. Keith Yandle at one point was switching between an Ai9 and the mako, some people already pointed out seeing phaneuf doing the same with CCM.

makes sense - a lot of players won't change gear mid-season and will reserve pre-season or summer break or the all-star game as the times to try out new equipment.

Anybody who follows the AHL, has Mats Zuccarello been using green holders for a while? Just noticed that during the AHL All Star Game tonight.

He must have started doing that really recently.

I don't really follow the AHL as a whole but being a Rangers fan I do look at some Whale news, and I'm pretty sure It wasn't there as of December.

Maybe after he re-injured his ankles, maybe just an allstar thing, but it's gotta be really recent.

Any pics by the way?

5500 and 7500 are basically the same helmet. alot of guys are still wearing the NBH 5500 with a bauer sticker over the NBH logo

He's definitely wearing the 7500, look at the vents

7500

vs. 5500

also, looks like Easton got him in their gloves as opposed to his Bauer 4-rolls for the All Star weekend
