Nope...8000s. The plastic below the tendon guard is the clue.

Thanks for the clarification...If these are brand spanking new (which they look to be) this is an unbelievable pickup.

It was, had to wrestle my way to the back seating area at the caps sale, and when in the checkout line they wrote me up for $80 because she believed they had some scuffs ( I personally think she was just being nice)

Are you kidding? Rare skates in amazing condition like that for 80 bucks? Wear them well!

Does that say 9 3/4 E4, a 4 EEEE? I hope you have fat feet if they do. Judging by the spread on the laces, I'm betting 4 EEEE.

Tuuk Custom + also........

I baked them today as stated above and they fit unbelieveably well. I have never had top of the line skates before and can't wait to get them on the ice tomorrow.

I would not at all call those "top of the line" skates. They are Bauer 8000s from 2003?

Old tech skates but made to look like newer TotalOne skates for marketing purposes. Not good for Bauer to see a pro wearing old school skates....

They are very unique though for sure (other than players at a high level).

But, the outsoles of these T1 classics more closely resemble the 8090's. I believe 8090's had plastic below the tendon guard as well. This is a dumb conversation anyway. They are similar to both.

Are you kidding? These are different from the 2003 version in some pretty significant ways. I think the biggest thing is the texalium carbon outsole.
