Why does it always seem that Minnesota, San Jose or in the case of tonight, both, are always on NBC Sports (formerly Versus)? I know that Minnesota gets pretty good ratings back home, but I'd really like to see more of Chicago, Washington and the Rangers.

Those games are now reserved for Weekend afternoon games on NBC. Just about every week you will see either Detroit, Chicago, or rangers. Actually, twice this week Detroit vs Chicago was on (sun night and next sat afternoon).

I looked at the schedule, looks like the caps and rangers are both coming up in the near future.

Solution: Order NHL Centerice... greatest thing ever.

No games in HD, Random blackouts for Caps and Pens games. Broadcast quality is usually pretty bad as well, I've had games get pixelated and the broadcast bogged down like it was buffering. No refund, no credit, no explanation. "We'll look into it" is not a solution and it is not going to get my money.

NHL Center Ice package works out pretty well for me. I cannot listen to "OH MY!!" Doc Emrick 8 days a week on NBCSN. I like getting the Canadian games and late night games from the West Coast.

I would have been happy if the broadcast quality was decent or I got a decent number of games in HD.

Isn't that what you said in your other post or are we being redundant?

repetitively redundant, to be honest

It seems like the only teams that get regular games on NBCSN are PIT, CHI, DET, and WSH. If you're a fan of any other team and don't get their local coverage, you just have to hope your team is playing one of the aforementioned. I rarely see western teams get much coverage, which is too bad because there a few teams that I'd like to see a lot more of (Kings, Sharks, Avalanche, Oilers). I'm a Bruins fan living in New England but I'd still like to see some teams that the Bruins only play once a year. There are a lot of teams who have some really exciting young players that deserve more exposure to hockey fans outside of their local markets.

...thats what centreice is for.

the only outlet canadians have to see out of market games, with the exception of centreice, is hockey night in canada.

NHL.com GameCenter Live is Legit..... Nearly every game is in HD and you can change between home and away feeds if avialable. Plus since you obviously are on your computer a lot and most everything is easly able to conncect to your tv....hdmi, mini dvi to dvi to hdmi and so on, also a number of platforms with apps out that you can use to stream. I live overseas and its a godsend. PS3 works amazingly we'll and as does my computer. i think maybe i saw one game.... columbus v colorado that wasnt HD and that was the only game ive seen this whole season not in HD on it. Either way its worth the money, and i believe now it just went on sale. worth every penny! OH and forgot because it comes on an app you can take it anywhere!

game center live isn't all that good when you're on the road and you're limited to hotel internet connections. And I get blacked out of more teams online than I am on TV. It's great for some people, not so much for others.

Interesting, didn't know that, I have it through directv and have not run into any of those issues. However, I generally only watch the wings... with centerice I get every one of their games in HD through FSDetroit down here in Houston. Could some of the issues be related to the cable provider?

edit: Looking up some thing and it looks like a lot of the issues are related to your cable provider. The provider would be responsible for not offering all of the HD feeds and buffering issues. DirecTV generally offers both feeds of every game in HD, and I've never had issues with pixelation or buffering.

You can watch games on your phone/ipad if you were to have one of those items that can handle it.... 3G/4G areas should work well. that and im pretty sure you can listen to them if your that desperate!

I think that there were a whole lot of local fans who'd rather hear their home announcers. Maybe if we could select our audio feed?

Yes, and as a Bruins fan it was intolerable.

Nobody outside of new england wants to hear jack edwards. hell, a lot of people in new england don't want to hear jack edwards. I have nothing against him, he was always nice to me.
