truth is we were tryin to "plug" it a little bit and i acted as a spawn on our forum to ask questions and show people how well we could answer them. just cause weve only had the site up for a week or so n we spent alot of money on it...

anyway Gaborik has signed on as well with Easton- its a mid/heel curve with a 15mm/5.5 lie

The new Bauer stick is called the Endure..supposed to be 23% stronger and also has a grip finish. Ill look into getting a pic of this as well tonite

sounds like the Gaborik will replace the Modano, also seeing as Modano will be using a vector ....BLAH!

Great, a lot of the kids I see need lower lies not higher ones. Getting rid of the last 5 lie would be even worse for kids.

I absolutely agree. I am pretty certain the modsqaud pattern db is incorrect on the TPS Tkachuk lie - - which is supposed to be a Modano clone. I hate the lie on my XN10, it definitely looks and feels like a 6.

I lower lie is definitely more condusive (sp?) to a natural lean, a'la Gretzky style. It 's also easier to catch a pass and shoot with a lower lie, atleast for me.

The TPS website has the Tkachuk pattern at a 5 lie. I'm calling bs. I've placed my Synergy Modo and TPS Tkachuk side by side and the Modo is a lower lie. But the TPS site also has the Tkachuk as a heel curve, slightly open - - when I think it is clearly a mid- heel, mostly closed face. They also have the Nash as a 5.5 lie, and when I had my Nash XN10 the lie felt much lower. Sorry . . . I am rambling . . . What else is new!

My Tkachuk R2 matches up to the Elias Blades we have in the shop.

Maybe I got the stick the new guy in training made on a Friday afternoon. Chadd, is there a definitive way (technique) used to measure the lie on a stick?

I've always put the middle of the blade on the floor, the amount of rocker can make a huge difference in the lie of some blades. I really need to have some custom blades made up.

Whatever, MINT...

Is your name Sean?

Anyway...

The Gaborik is replacing the Yzerman. 5.5 lie instead of 6. Forsberg is replacing Modano.

ANNNNNNNNNNNNND...all you haters who didn't believe me on CoreBeam when I said Modano was switching to CCM...let me hear you say yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

The NEW Synergy SL (superlight) is made from the strongest fiber ever produced. By using this material (Carbon Nanotube Technology) they are able to produce a stick that is lighter and stronger than anything anyone has produced to date in the stick market.

Speaking of Carbon Nanotubes, it looks like the process of producing this material is becoming cheaper through technological advances. So, will we see a drop in the price of Easton OPS's. I doubt it. Check out this article:

So Gaborik is replacing Yzerman with a 5.5 instead of a 6 lie, then Forsberg is replacing modano. Modano is going to ccm but will it replace a curve or just be another curve?

So is that the deal?

kovalchuk71 where did you see that? I dont see it

for those who said that the prices were really high..i just figured it out. It is a canadian site so they have to post the prices we have over and convert them to american. Although it's still a little high makes sense...i'm sure most of you already figured tjis out but w/e
