New Easton Gear...n more (lots of reading ENJOY!)

I'm still hoping they can redeem the glove line personally. Especially after the (IMO) horrible offering of the synergy gloves last year. They've been going downhill in top of the line gloves since the 2002 z-air which was phenominal. They need to get back to the lobster claws I tells ya! :)

I really hope they don't use the "E" logo on the cuffs like the wc04 gloves, it looked pretty goofy imo.

Please please PLEASE get rid of the wrist wrap completely! We all get the point, you put $$ into R&D, well you've had a 2-3 year product run, it's time to move away from it.

I've said it a bazillion times before and I'll keep saying it. Make the freaking PRO gloves available at retail!

Zero-shock - Forsberg Zetterberg

Z-air - Sakic ('01), Yzerman ('99), Iginla ('00)

Air - Just about everyone else in the nhl ;)

I COMPLETELY agree with this post...

JR.... the hockeygeeks message board is mine.... i work for them... maybe if u read the orginal post it said we... as in we went to the Easton blah blah blah

but ya i can get pics most likely for this stuff

in regards to the NIke skates.. they do not have the clorino liner like the 8090... I WISH THEY DID.. they have the same liner as the V10s did.. NO the V 12s

ill get a pic and specific details on them for ya.. they look cool and kinda have the same concept as the synergy skates with the coil technology

Yes, I noticed your little "plug" for your board the other day.

And yes, I did read the original post. How can you figure that out when it looks like you quoted someone?

Any idea how much Easton would charge for the priviledge of having custom colour sticks? Would they also make this feature available for shafts as well?

You just "checked it out" and suddenly they gave you the board to run?

You did the same thing on CCM.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's cool that you have the ability to comment on the 05 Easton product (because I sure as hell didn't) but you gotta call your previous post what it was, a plug.

I'm not pissed at all. The fact that you called me a bitcher and whatnot admits guilt :)

okay did you here anything about the synthesis and shafts in general. Are they fixing the grip?

Am I the only person who never *knocks on wood* had a problem with Easton Grip? I've owned two 03's and one '04's and an '03 sythesis and I have never had a problem with the grip dissappearing or peeling.

How come nobody ever mentions the grip on the Vector 120. I sware the first day I got it, I rubbed my finger on the top of the shaft and the grip peeled right off. The Vector grip is about 1/1000 of a cm thin and resembles cheap school-like rubber cemement. I also had a Mission M-1 grip that peeled like a leper, and I never read about anyone bitching about Mission. I used an '03 Modo grip for six months, twice a week and it never peeled! Granted the heel eventually cracked! But it never peeled.

I factor in grip peeling, so if it doesn't it's a plus. That said, the only problem I had/have with Easton's is how tacky it is.

Man, I sure hope that hockeygeeks site sticks to their "price matching" guns because most of their prices are INSANELY overpriced. $188 for a Vector V110, which I picked up for $99 at my LHS...bananas! I understand why he'd plug it...sheesh

It's all pp. The tackier the better - - I say.

This is true and I'd rather have too tacky than something that doesn't even register. For whatever reason though, their Grip Lite grip sticks better than any other stick they have with grip. And I'll go ahead and be the one that pines for the old milky grip.
