Where are your Easton Stealth RS sticks made? HELP PLS!

Recommended Posts

Where are your RS made? I have 2, both grip but made in different country. The one made in China looks more matted and duller compared to the one made in Mexico, which looks more glossier, also the graphics do not line up evenly on both sticks. The one made in China is slightly lower. Does Easton manufacture their sticks in both countries? Or is one of my RS a fake? I just want to know if I have both legit sticks? Both were given to me.

Thanks

Do you remember what the title of those posts/theads were? I'm trying to search for them, and all i could find was Fake/China APX.

The curve on the made in china one is a Hall's curve and it looks very legit to me. The shade of the black graphics seems a bit matte compared to the Glossy one that is made in Mexico, which also has Caution: Do Not Apply Heat beside the barcode that says warranty void if removed, whereas the China does not have that. I'll post a pic soon, just tring to figure out how.

Thanks to those who replied.

It would help is you could tell us how they were attained, you said both were given to you, by whom, same person? Where did they get them, legit dealer or ebay? One could be a fake or perhaps a prototype Easton had made in China early on in development, but decided to go with mexico for final production. Either way, you have two sticks you got for free, neither has a warranty so just use them and enjoy.

Ya, but the idea of having a fake stick still bothers me. And about questioning where the sticks came from, I tend not to ask when things are given to me. But you're right, I should just use them and enjoy.

Thanks

Everything that is different is not always counterfit. Very often sales reps bring stuff for us to see in November, but the final version 5 months later is different. Then the rep's samples get sold to some dealer and they resell them. Happens all the time.

The stick is most likely counterfeit if you are questioning it.

There is a thread about this; they only have one set of graphics. The telltale sign is the blade graphics. On one hand the graphics are correct, on the other hand, they aren't. Forget if it's LH or RH.

Anyway, this has been confirmed by Easton. It's always a Hall, made in China.

Ya, the Hall one is the one made in China and the Iginla is made in Mexico. The graphics on the blade looks legit. The only difference is the shade of black used, as mentioned earlier, the Iginla (Made in Mexico) is more glossier than the Hall, and they are both grip. I'm sure they are both real, Chris from Icewarehouse confirmed that Easton products are manufactured in both country. The major difference between the sticks are the colours of the stick and that the graphics don't line up idenically on both sticks, one more thing, the word stealth near the butt end on the Iginla is more centered than the Hall, which is closer to the edges, not centered at all.

Easton does have sticks made in both countries, but all the RS sticks are made in Mexico, even the Halls. I have a bunch on my shelf and all are Mexico.
