Why not get one of the True-1's? I thought Perani's was blowing them out? all of those sticks seem like good choices.

I also have a Syn grip for sale if you want.

1.Synergy Si Core

2.Bauer XX

I'm getting Vapor XXX skates, if they fit, to replace my XX's, so that will be my present, my sticks are pretty stocked up right now.

depends on where you buy them. i believe someone said epuck.com had them for $179, hockey giant was selling them for $250 in the store, and i think hockey monkey was about $200 in store.

My bad, as soon as I posted that I found them....I didnt know they were the pro-stock ones.

By the way, are Peranis and 1800 Faceoff the same place? They seem to have the same stuff at the same exact prices with the same amount of stock of each item....

Isn't the Bauer XXX in fact an Inno True1 with Bauer graphics and "Stick'um feel"? I guess I had read that somewhere before.

I've always wanted to try a True1. 1800-faceoff had some pro returns not so long ago (2-3 months) for like $120.

I went there to see if they still had them, and stumbled across Pro Return XN10's for $129: http://www.1800faceoff.com/prod_selected.i...27&prod_id=3249

HOWEVER, if wanting something snazzy, I'll mimick what someone suggested earlier which is the new Vector 130. The previous vector versions were quite durable and had great shooting power. Throw in the free glove promo? Seems like a good deal.

OR, register over on the Easton board and get the $75 Stealth deal (for donating toys to charity).

I think it has double concave as well.

See, the only thing I am not crazy about with the True 1 is that when it breaks, you dont have a tapered shaft to use....

So why don't you buy a tapered shaft to begin with, it'll save you alot of dough.

Just flip it around and use it for street hockey.
