That was a great video. I hope to play the occasional game when I am that age. There is a woman around here who is in her 80's who still plays occasionally. She insists on jumping boards and had her 80th birthday party at the rink.

On my team out in my "fun" league I play in, we have a guy who's 71 playing. he's a dirty old mofo, but at least he's on my team.

In my league that I go for competitive there is a guy with one leg that plays, or used to play and also there is a women in a lower league who is about 65 as well.

My dad played until he was 63 and harped on me ever since I quit at 8 to start playing again. He seems pretty happy that I did, at 28.

I found out tonight that the guy who runs the Open Hockey Nights and plays in it at one our local rinks is 82 years old. Simply, AWESOME!

Great Story!

I played up through college and then gave it up. At 30 I told myself I was too old. Started back at 38 and now I see how ridiculous my point of view at 30 was.

I play with a 73 year old, a few 60's, and plenty of 50 somethings at morning shinny. Truly an inspiration.

I'm a noob on MSH - also hitting my mid-60's, and have the need to re-enter...

been since '88 since I've picked up a stick, skated maybe 5 times since then - so a bit of catch-up gotta happen.
