P92?

Recommended Posts

I couldnt fina an apropriate topic to postin.. Anyways... I just bought a bauer apx blade in a p92 curve. I paired ot with an x:60 shaft and took some shots with it. It felt comfortable shooting and i could shoot well but something looked off. I compared with a sackic and another p92 i have and it seems like a flatter curve. Its not a huge deal but it seams like it might be mislabeled?

i felt like the bauer version had more of an overall hook. i also had a hall labeled eq50 that was in between a hall and a drury curve, almost like the old shanahan i think. i also have a hall wood blade that is similar with the curve being off but it could be because its a wood blade

could be the tape throwing off the light, optics, etc. they definitely look similar and should at the least play the same.

also, if that is indeed a prostock se 16 sakic, there can be any number of little tweaks to it to suit who it was made for.

the P92 I feel has a tiny bit of a toe hook in it compared to an Easton Sakic. in the general scheme of things they are pretty much the same.

I have noticed a difference in the Hall blades, not as open in my opinion. I prefer the P92.

noticed that as well, being used to easton my shots were higher with bauer

judging by those pics the easton sakic has the bigest hook.

btw I have an ccm 164-1 p92 clone and i like it more because it has less toe or less of a hook.

There is a slight difference. The Sakic is more a true mid curve while the P92 has some toe to it. The Sakic is a little deeper and slightly more open. Very close but not an exact clone.
