Mission Inhaler Gloves

Recommended Posts

recently got some ac1's and it was well worth the price. Great feel and fit even though not a big fan of the narrow design. No more sweaty/hot hands is great

how narrow are they? can you compare to another narrow glove (like rbk 9k)? thanks...i like narrow fitting gloves so these may work for me. i doubt they have them at my local stores that mainly cater to ice hockey.

does anyone know how palm durability should be on these gloves?

or how it was on the t9 gloves? they have a similar palm i know.

Kyle - my son has been using the T9's since last Christmas and the palms have held up really well, even compared to his old Total Ones and some other better gloves. I've noticed a bit of breakdown in the old palm, but he also has a tendency to lose his stick endcaps and not replace them. If I had to guess, he's worn them for upwards of 50 games and probably double that in practices and stick times - both travel and higher tier school league. Since I usually foot the bill, I'm pretty happy with the durability.

Looking for some feedback on the newest line with the 37.5. Would like to know

1. how good are these at keeping your hands dry/cool. I use 37.5 for the rest of my base layering, and like it thusfar.

2. is the second in line any good?

3. are these any better than the AC line was? or should I just look for a pair of those on clearance.

4. fit wise, what does the DS compare to? Similar to APX?

Thank you!

yesterday i tried on some bauer vapor x80s and some bauer supreme one.6....

I have to say, i much preferred the fit on the supremes... they fit nice and snug on the hand and fingers. The vapors in comparison felt a bit...baggy..

i think i read somewhere that the mission DS series are based on a vapor fit

DS definitely fits more like a Vapor glove to me. I think the DS:1 is a much better glove than the AC:1 was, however I don't see many improvements amongst the DS:2 vs. the AC:2. Just keep in mind, the DS:2 doesn't feature the 37.5 material.

yeah. the 37.5 would be a big selling feature to me. I feel like this is something that I will either go top end, or not go at all. Stores around here don't carry it, so I will have to guess based on how the APX fits on my hand whether I am a 13 or 14 in these.

I'm a 13" in APX2, and a 13" in DS1.

perhaps your the perfect candidate for this question than, do you find that the DS1 breathe/keep your hands cooler than an apx2 would with similar lining?

I'm a 13" in APX2, and a 13" in DS1.
