JR Boucicaut 3801 Report post Posted November 19, 2012 A bit short-sighted; what if you wear a visor or nothing at all?I just had someone contact me about reviewing their product -http://www.nosweatco.comGoing to give it a shot.
bolt91 31 Report post Posted November 19, 2012 The No Sweat is amazing. I've been using them for a few weeks now and I love them! I put one on the top of my head as well along with the one at the brow. Soaks up the sweat no problem.
JR Boucicaut 3801 Report post Posted November 19, 2012 Interesting. You should submit a review. ;)

bolt91 31 Report post Posted November 19, 2012 Couldn't you just mod a regular sweat band?
IPv6Freely 2093 Report post Posted November 19, 2012 Couldn't you just mod a regular sweat band?Maybe if you're handy.*EDIT* Sorry for the short reply, was on my phone. You COULD mod it, but how would you do it? Cut a normal sweatband down to be 1/4-1/2" rather than the standard 1"+ and then wrap it around the cage the same way? Could work, but I'd seriously question the durability. Plus you wouldn't be able to adjust it in any way.Might be an interesting project for somebody with skill at that kind of thing, but that's not me.The nosweat looks interesting. I actually found this angrybrow product while trying to find some sort of superthin headband. A guy on my old team used one and I think it made a lot of sense. bolt91 31 Report post Posted November 19, 2012 Cut it to the 1/4-1/2", cut it to the length you'd need for the cage, sew the ends, and wrap it the same way.True, I'm not totally crafty either. That's why I bought the NoSweat :)

jimmy 194 Report post Posted November 19, 2012 Haven't heard of the angrtbrow, but interested in a good review. We've been selling the No Sweats for a couple of weeks. Feedback so far has been awesome. They are disposable, so no washing required. They retain sweat really well using gel and they won't break the bank.. number21 3 Report post Posted November 19, 2012 I would be interested in the nosweat if it was washable. There are too many disposable things already. Might look into one of those WSI products.
jimmy 194 Report post Posted November 19, 2012 Do they leave any sort of residue?I use one on my ball cap so the sweat doesn't ruin the hat, havent see any residue but I'm not sweating like I do for hockey. I'll ask the next user who stops in.
bolt91 31 Report post Posted November 19, 2012 Do they leave any sort of residue?A little bit, but it wipes right off with a towel.

Coldclay 53 Report post Posted November 19, 2012 Just ordered a 3-pk of NoSweat, $3.99 and free shipping!? Why not...
JR Boucicaut 3801 Report post Posted November 23, 2012 Just got a sample pack from NoSweat.Fairly simple to install. They are designed for one-time use; once the pad gets wet, discard after you're done.I'm going to go through the pack and then write a review.
IPv6Freely 2093 Report post Posted November 23, 2012 I ordered a set of No-Sweat, a WSI headband (as well as some shinpad ...whatever they're called...). I tried ordering the angrybrow but their Google shopping cart is broken. I emailed them to let them know, they said they'd get back to me. Not a good sign. Hopefully they eventually fix it so I can review and compare all three.
shoeshine boy 242 Report post Posted November 23, 2012 I used to use something similar to the No Sweats but it was velcro'd in rather than adhesive. later I made my own because it was cheaper. went to the generic sports store, bought a regular sweat head band. cut it in half and attached it using adhesive velcro inside the helmet. whenever it needed a wash or if I was playing multiple games in one day I'd just take it out and replace it with the other half of the headband.when I switched to a new helmet I never replaced it and have found out that I don't really need it. Powerfibers 8 Report post Posted November 24, 2012 I have an Under Armour head band similar to that WSI one, works like a charm and fits great under my helmet. I have one with and one without a top other are nice, but the WSI ones are much better priced. Will have to check those out.
