wershen 1 Report post Posted March 5, 2013 Just bought a new pair of crazy light hockey pants online and they should be in this week. Anyone have any thoughts or opinions that have used these?

Tailboard Jockey 25 Report post Posted March 5, 2013 They seem to run a little short.
Bodangle 0 Report post Posted March 5, 2013 I just got some new ones in last night OP, I tried them on "Size Medium Senior"and they fit very very snug. Im a 32 waist and they were good for me. I came from size med eq easton pants that just were too bulky for me.These do run short, but I found them still very comfortable. I"ll keep them and the padding is just superb imo. Let me know what you think.
capthockey 1 Report post Posted March 5, 2013 I have a size medium as well, they have excellent padding, nice material thats water repellent. They do run a bit short but they have a nice look and feel to them I think...
Stewie 721 Report post Posted March 5, 2013 they do run a little short, but not everyone is tall. i have been using mine for about a season now, love them. at first i was worried they might be too tight fitting (came from ccm l but had lost some weight and those no longer fit). the large were just too large and the mediums fit on snug when i first tried them on. since then, the fit has been more forming, and i love it. its stretched out just a little bit, and the padding is just amazing on them, without making them feel like cement blocks on my thighs. AIREAYE 248 Report post Posted March 6, 2013 Cool thing about them too though, is that they're a two-piece pant. They might be compatible with some pro stock lowers, though I've never seen this done or tried it myself. But if it is possible, you can change those out for length/colorway if you so choose; might be worth investigating.

wershen 1 Report post Posted March 6, 2013 They do look alittle short. I'm 6'0" do you think they will be alright?
Bodangle 0 Report post Posted March 7, 2013 Up to you man. I'm 5'11-6' ish. They are lil shorter then my eastons. I'll still go with them, there not so short they look ridiculous or don't protect. They're very ergonomical *spelling*, they just hug everything.
Zorlac 22 Report post Posted March 7, 2013 Confirmed: I have the CS and they BOTH run short. 5'8ish, and I wished they were just a bit longer. I have the Medium size, MONSTROUS amounts of protection. You will love the CLs...
talkintothemike 4 Report post Posted March 7, 2013 They do look alittle short. I'm 6'0" do you think they will be alright?I am 6 ft, I am more long wasted than long legged. I went with the Mediums because of the waist sizing even though the length does not go to 6'. I hate swimming in pants, so I figured that was the better way to go than to buy a Large for the length. Well, I am a 32-33 waist and weigh about 180-185, and not only are they a little short, but they do fit very snug. One inch + longer, and they would be about perfect. Story of my life. wershen 1 Report post Posted March 7, 2013 sounds like bad luck haha. I have short stocky legs so I might be ok from what everyone is telling me. Probably should have started this thread before I bought the pants tho haha

Probably should have started this thread before I bought the pants tho hahaDid you end up getting/keeping the pants? I'm looking at a pair of CL/CS's. I'm just undecided if the CL is worth the extra $50 premium. I usually buy a medium pant for the waist size but generally find the pants are too long for my liking so I figured the shorter pant might be the way to go. Amiroo39 121 Report post Posted July 10, 2013 I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on the crazy light pants. I have the CL shoulders and shin pads and am quite happy with both. I'm coming from Eagle X88 which I've had for about a year, they are ok except this one area located in the hips which offers no protection at all. Every now and then I seem to fall on this particular spot which results in a lot of pain, hurts to walk for about a couple of weeks, and bruises. My question is, do the CL's offer top level protection compared to say the Bauer TO's, Warrior Franchises, or Rbk 20k's? Thanks
Cavs019 710 Report post Posted July 10, 2013 Yes. If you want overkill, go CS.
ntwusc 62 Report post Posted July 10, 2013 I have taken some very hard falls in CL's, and I have never had bruises or even much soreness afterward. I can't compare them to the pants you listed, but they are at least as protective as my previous Reebok 11K pants, if not more so.
