Recommended Posts

I need a new shaft cause i broke both my ak27 and se16 and need to replace them. Being a broke ass high school kid i want a decent performing shaft but also don't have a lot of money. and info would be greatly appreciated

What do Base shafts play similar to? Also does Base do custom blades because I love the sher-wood coffey but can never find any composite blades.

The Easton EQ50 is close to the SE16 if you liked it. I've used and liked both. You can probably find one on clearance somewhere.

If you go tapered, then Harrow almost always has blades in stock.

You can get Dolomites for around $65.00 on Hockey Monkey. The only I have these days is finding blades.

Picked up a dolomite at my LHS for 47 bucks also a 2009 ST for 38 bucks. Also, has anyone used sher-wood t90 blades?i found a few of them for a good deal and if they're an ok blade i'll get them

T90 Blades are alright, Harrow blades are better, much stiffer.

I'm playing with the black/yellow Dynasty shaft and am very happy with it. Have also heard good things about the Dolomite shaft from teammates.

how do these shafts compare to an Easton Synergy II (the tapered one) and/or a cut off old Vapor XX ops that I turned into a tapered shaft. I'm rocking both of these with Reebok 11K blades and like both combos, but both shafts are going on like 5-6 years old now that I think about it lol.
