english15x 3 Report post Posted April 19, 2013 I'm an avid reader here, don't post too often but I couldn't find anything for a weekend tournament checklist. I'll be going away today to play in a local adult tournament but will be staying nearby. Don't need any DUI's :p I was looking around the house at anything extra I may need to pack. I threw in some extra steel and a 3rd stick so far. Any other suggestions? Thanks.
Chadd 916 Report post Posted April 19, 2013 I took a dry shirt and socks for every game to the tournament we did recently. A floor fan for drying gear if that matters to you.

Chadd 916 Report post Posted April 19, 2013 A case of water and/or gatorade/powerade type stuff as well as some energy bars can help if you have a quick turnaround. You might want to take a grill and some food to cook if you're going to be there overnight. Cut up a roast and dump in some marinade, it will be a lot healthier and cheaper than ordering pizza or burgers. We use bamboo skewers instead of plastic utensils. Burgers or dogs on the grill are another easy and quick option too

sickwilly 37 Report post Posted April 23, 2013 Does the rink know you're planning on camping there? You'll probably need to think about where you'll be able to crap (without pissing off said arena's staff) once the rink is closed. I keep electrolyte tablets (I use Electrolyte Stamina, found on Amazon.com, link below) in my hockey bag. For multiple game days, I bring bananas, too. I have found both to be helpful in getting me ready to play the day after too much beer. The electrolyte tabs have helped save me from cramping up/getting spasms on days with more than 1 game. http://www.amazon.com/Trace-Minerals-Research-Performance-Electrolyte/dp/B000AMR8YO/ref=sr_1_cc_1?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1366745177&sr=1-1-catcorr&keywords=electrolyte+stamina

I've also found things like that are very helpful. I actually purchased a ton of boxes of Gatorlyte. That stuff works great for a night of beer drinking but also during multi-game days.
