Speed Demon

Skates were butchered

anytime you start drilling holes in a boot, you take a chance...not to say he didn't screw them up..but sometimes there are only so many places you can mount a blade..

i understand your coach shafted you...but i've always thought its a bad idea to be switching holders..unless they mount up pretty close..ie Pitch/Tuuk seems to be right on..

me personally, i've been a bauer guy nearly my whole life...it could be the greatest boot in the world for another company that I like and want..but i think i would buy it boot only, even if the cost is about the same and just get the Tuuk put on a non drilled boot..

He might be able to sell the holders? Possibly the boot, but I doubt it. Speed Demon, just don't rip anyone off, thats pretty low if you do.

Even though I realize you said "if", I would never do something like that. I am a good member of the ebay community and I want to make sure that my customers are satisfied.

And about buying the boot, I would have to do that through graf eh?

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of the PITCH holder. If I ever find a pair of skates that will last AND fit I definatly am going to get a pair of them on them.

Wings its impossible to tell if its perfect or a complete hack from those pictures, but im sure JR did some solid work on them. I've played around with an old boot on the riviting machine at work and it is truely an artform that you can't just teach someone to do in a few hours and expect them to go out an do flawless jobs.

A local guy was complaining that his brand new Z-Airs felt as though they were putting him back on his heels. We measured them up and they were pitched 6 degrees back. To resolve that you need shims and/or grind away a ton of steel so we ordered some Pitch holders for him.
