Does anyone know where I can get ahold of one of those slick Sherwood EK15 vintage Heritage Classic sticks Bobby Ryan was sporting tonight? I saw one pop up in the Gear Sighted section, if you want to check it out.

Make a custom order through Sher-Wood and request Vintage Wood EK15 graphics. That's the only way to get a stick with those graphics right now. Custom EK15s are $199 per stick, with a minimum order of 6.

Solicit is an interesting way of putting it. Aren't reps typically happy to be asked if/where we can purchase products their sponsored athletes are using/wearing at marquee events?

I wasn't asking for his personal contact information, if that was the worry. Simply, how best to contact that individual on MSH. Could have worded it better.

You then reply and say that you can't swing 6, so now you want to talk to the Sher-Wood representative on MSH.

That would require special treatment on his part to get you one.

It is possible that in the near future there will be a retail version that is beyond the knowledge of Mr. Data or is being sold in a market where MrData doesn't live. Maybe I'm wrong and MrData works for SW, I don't know. I can't swing 6 right now custom based on what he said, but if there's a retail version coming in the near future, I'd love to know. I do not want special treatment on the manufacturing front or am pining for insider info on release dates- just wondering if anyone has seen the product on LHS shelves or have any idea if it will be available at some point. Like you say, stores are getting demos so hopefully there are plans.

We had a demo for the EK15. He was bringing the stick to show to us as the HC was yesterday - not to sell to us.

Here is what’s going on the EK15 Vintage stick.

• The concept started with the idea to make Bobby Ryan a special cosmetic for the Heritage Classic.
• Only 24 pieces were produced and each stick is numbered X/24.
• The first 12 pieces were given to Bobby and are game/practice used.
• At the moment there is no way of purchasing one of these 24 sticks.
• However, these cosmetics are available on request for custom stick orders under the name: EK15 Vintage
• We have gotten an enormous unexpected amount of positive feedback regarding the stick.
• I will sit down with our marketing and sales team next week a look at what the potential possibilities are for this cosmetic.
• It’s safe to say this stick will be available at retail at somepoint. But when and to what capacity (ie: Mass production / limited edition / special dealer program / booking only etc..), that is still unknown.

I haven't been able to get an EK15 locally but if/when that vintage Ek15 stick comes out, I'll gladly take a trip up to MTL to pick one up. I'm seeing more and more guys using Sherwood sticks in VT but sadly, I don't believe any of the LHS sell your products, or at least I haven't seen any.

I talked with Kevin from Kevin Smith's Sports at the SDC show in Niagara Falls. They ordered a decent amount for this year's booking.
