Best Low Kick Stick?????

Looking to get a new stick, and I want to swith it up and get a low kick one.  Right now I am looking at getting a 1x or 1xse or maybe even a reckoner but any input would be great, thanks!

Really? I read somewhere that if you put an extension on it feels weird and doesn't preform well

Put an extension in any stick and it won't feel the same as it is designed. Depends how long the extension is as well. I had to take my extension out of my EK60 as it screwed with the flex point too much.

Yeah that's the issue that I heard of.  Is there any way to extend a stick without that happening?  I usually put a foot 3" plug in

I've had more success with composite extensions rather than wood plugs in terms of keeping the feel as close to original as possible.

 

But getting a 63" stick where possible is better than extending a 60" stick by 3 inches

Any idea as to where I could find a 63"  ek60 or 1x??

You can't find a 63" EK60. T120 comes in 64" though.

Neither of those exist as far as I know, but Bauer does make a specific extension for the 1X

 

I've seen 63" CCM and Warrior sticks. I bought a 63" QR1, although I've recently cut it down to 60" after my game improved.

It's all going to be personal preference really.

 

I have an EK60 and V9E and can attest that they are fantastic sticks, but it's going to be up to your own personal preference to find which one works for you.

 

I would recommend going into a store with a demo booth to try them out and see which one feels the "best" for you.

If that doesn't work and you have only recommendations from people online, i'd recommend going with one of the last years top-end sticks (1x when it goes on sale, EK15, QR series, Ribcor 40k) so that way you can get an idea of what you like without breaking the bank.

 

It took me 5 sticks to realize that I prefer a true mid kick & variable mid kick sticks. So now my poor EK60 & Easton V9E just gather dust :(

I've tried out a clarkson prostock v9e and for me the only problem was the curve.  I had an apx2 and loved it and before that a mako and I liked that too
